Looking for something long term
You're not here for a Tuesday. Red says you'd rather have one good conversation than five polite ones, and you don't mind saying so out loud.
Blue
Looking for something short term
Here for the fun of it. Blue is the least complicated band in the room — nobody wearing one has to explain themselves at the end of the night.
White
No idea what I'm doing right now
The most honest band we hand out, and the one people are most relieved to see. White means you're open, undecided, and not pretending otherwise.
All three come with
your ticket at the door.
Nothing extra to buy. Take the ring that's true when you walk in — and swap it at the bar if that changes by ten o'clock. It happens more than you'd think.
Nobody checks
There's no register and no wrong answer. The ring is a hint, not a contract.
Swapping is normal
The bar keeps all three all night. Changing your mind mid-room is the most New York thing you can do.
White is the popular one
Most people arrive certain and leave in white. We stopped finding that funny and started ordering more.
